Welcome to my piece of the internet.

I’m Andrea – a mom, an entrepreneur, an avid writer and researcher, a book geek, a genealogist, photographer, an animal lover and a perpetual explorer. I am an Ontario girl through and through, born and raised but I moved to Alberta in August 2010 making my permanent home in the foothills of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Managing 4 autoimmune diseases is a challenge but finding homeopathy and biofeedback literally saved my life. Creating a holistic lifestyle that works for my body so I can lead a healthy and normal life was utmost important to me. Life is about ever changing, growing, learning and evolving so I take with me what I have learned to this point and utilize it on a daily bases. In moving forward with the knowledge, good habits, and routines I have in place, I feel confident in sharing with others suffering with incurable autoimmune diseases.  In hopes of changing the way disease is viewed in the western medical world by proving that healing naturally will saves lives, and doing away with prescription drugs and surgery is possible for the majority, if not all, of the fellow IBD suffers.

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia having all 18 trigger points at age 17 in 1989, diagnosed with Graves Disease (HYPERthyroid) at age 29 in 2001, diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia in 2012 and diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis at the age 43 in 2015. Although, I had been living with CD and UC for decades unknowingly. I look back and understand why I struggled so much for so long. I finally found help with a homeopathic doctor who uses biofeedback, sho tai and holistic remedies with her patients. Join me as I tell my story of how I avoided prescription drugs and surgery by healing naturally with holistic modalities and diet change.
