The centers of spiritual power in the human body, usually considered to be seven in number. Each center has an integral function in creating our energetic balance. It is through the study of our energetic and physical being that we can create health, emotional stability and spiritual bliss. The openness and flow of energy through our chakras determines our state of health and balance. Our energy system empowers us to maintain balance and harmony on the physical, mental and spiritual level. (Mind, Body & Soul)
All meditation and yoga practices balance out the energy of the chakras by purifying the lower energies and guiding them upwards. Through the use of grounding, creating “internal space,” and living consciously with an awareness of how we acquire and spend our energy we become capable of balancing our life force with our mental, physical and spiritual selves. Finding balance through meditation and yoga is a great way to focus on our chakras by unblocking and keeping them open for optimal health and well-being.
Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning “wheel”
Through biofeedback I learned that most of my monthly visits my third eye, throat and heart chakras were the ones blocked most often and the longest. As I became more balanced through learning about myself and becoming aware of the chakra system I freed up the blockages by meditating, yoga and the use of crystals. Of course biofeedback as well! I want to be able to keep all chakras open so that I stay healthy and not become in need of healing again for a very long time. Living a holistic lifestyle requires a lot on my part to keep my body balanced in all the ways I have discussed here on my blog. As I heal and find myself I am learning how to live my life as healthy as I can and in doing so I have acquired many resources to take with me into the future for longevity.
